Hi and welcome to Leela & Beau!

We are a baby / girls (…and yes, sometimes even you mom!) accesories brand owned by two long-time best friends, Monica and Maria.

Leela and Beau first started selling bows back in 2018 when Monica, who is super crafty, needed to put a bow on a birthday gift. It was at that moment when she realized she was terrible at it, and guess what? She just thought “challenge accepted!”. After watching some videos on YouTube and Instagram, she slowly started getting the hang of it and just fell in love with her new hobby. (Monica is BTW mom to two boys). She soon started selling to friends in the Dominican Republic, where she lives, and also two children stores there. Leela blew up! Soon Leela and beau was selling hundred of bows and headpieces a month.

Fast forward to 2023, Monica often receiving orders from abroad was thinking if it was maybe time to expand. At the same time her BFF, Maria, had just had her baby girl in Brooklyn, NY. Maria, obviously a lover of all things Leela and Beau, jumped at the chance to help her bestie launch Leela in the US. After months of working together, Leela and Beau is now live across the US in our site and select stores!
